A secure dead drop messaging system built on the XRP Ledger. Send encrypted messages that only the intended recipient can access. Your messages are protected by blockchain technology and military-grade encryption.
NEVER enter seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or PIN codes in messages.
DeathBox is designed for secure communication, not credential storage. If you need to share access information, only include hints or clues about where to find them (e.g., "Check the blue notebook in the safe" or "Password manager vault named 'Legacy'") that the recipient will understand.
Never transmit actual credentials through any messaging system.
Important: While DeathBox uses military-grade encryption, no system offers 100% protection against sophisticated hacker attacks, power outages, server failures, or unforeseen technical issues. Use this service responsibly and as part of a broader security strategy.
DeathBox is intentionally designed as a desktop-first web application. Legacy messages deserve thoughtful attention — best given on a PC or laptop.
Mobile note: You can connect wallets via WalletConnect or Xaman, but the interface is optimized for desktop. QR codes shown on mobile can't be scanned by the same device — for best results, use a computer.
Understanding what makes DeathBox secure and how it protects your messages
Your messages are encrypted with AES-256-CBC encryption standard. This is the same level of security used by governments and financial institutions to protect classified information.
Messages are securely stored on our servers for 90 days and can be retrieved at any time during this period. After 90 days, messages are permanently deleted from our systems to ensure your privacy.
Access to DeathBox requires holding DBXRP tokens in your wallet. This token-gated system ensures only verified community members can use the platform, maintaining security and trust.
Once sent, messages cannot be edited or deleted by the sender. They remain accessible to the recipient for the full 90-day period. Please review your message carefully before sending.
